Dog Obedience Training in Culpeper, VA

Pro K9 offers group classes for Basic Obedience and Advanced Obedience every Sunday! Our organized training classes provide a great opportunity for your pup or dog to socialize with others.

Evaluation and understanding K9 behavior

Prior to any class or training, all K9s must be evaluated and have proof of current health vaccinations. During the evaluation, we will also go over understanding K9 behavior. You will learn: instincts, drives, reading your canine, socialization (dog and human), proper feeding techniques, walking, exercise, play, pack order, and canine communication.

Basic Obedience

The Basic Obedience curriculum includes: sit, stay, come, down, and heel, on lead. At the conclusion of the course, successful teams will receive a certificate of completion.

Advanced Obedience

Completion of Basic Obedience class required prior to attending. Curriculum includes: sit, stay, down, come, and heel off lead, and using hand commands. At the conclusion of the course, successful teams will receive a certificate of completion.
